Student Experience Officer
The role of a Student Experience Officer involves providing administrative support to enhance student life. This position focuses on managing student activities and events to foster a vibrant campus community.
The officer will work closely with student committees, clubs, and leadership programs, supporting the planning and execution of student activities, orientation, and graduation events. Additionally, the officer will help students define their career goals, enhance employability skills, and connect with industry professionals through various career development activities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Career Services: Provide career guidance and support to students and graduates. Coordinate internship placements and develop workshops to enhance employability. Plan industry engagement events, career fairs, and leadership programs to connect students with industry leaders.
- Alumni Relations: Build and maintain relationships with alumni. Keep them informed about developments and participate in alumni events.
- Student Activities: Plan, review, and execute student programs in collaboration with senior managers. Work with student committees and clubs to ensure activities are safe, professional, and cost-effective.
- Campus Events: Manage key campus events, including student orientation, graduation ceremonies, and symposiums/seminars. Oversee logistics for new student arrival support and peer mentoring.
- Other Responsibilities: Build relationships with industry partners. Maintain accurate databases related to student activities and events. Produce campus newsletters for staff and students.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field: The successful candidate should hold a degree or diploma in business administration or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with student information systems or customer relationship management tools: The officer should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with student information systems or customer relationship management tools.
- On-the-job training provided: On-the-job training will be provided to equip the successful candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge.
