The IDMxS research cluster is seeking an accomplished Research Fellow to join their team. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving innovation in the synthesis of novel optical reporters.

  • Develop cutting-edge synthetic capabilities to advance the field of molecular analytics and science.
  • Design, synthesize, and characterize molecular reporters using conjugated oligoelectrolytes and conjugated polymer materials.
  • Collaborate with researchers across disciplines to package optimized assays into commercial products.
  • Pursue literature reviews and stay up-to-date on emerging trends in the field.
  • Author regular reports and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of progress.

Key qualifications include:

  • PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biophysics, or related fields.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Aptitude for working in a highly interdisciplinary environment.

Familiarity with photophysical processes in organic materials and expertise in developing biological assays are highly valued. Successful candidates will possess a strong track record in synthesizing complex molecular structures and characterizing new materials via advanced analytical tools.
