Role Overview
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the procurement function within our organization. This includes managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and experience in managing teams. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and address areas of inefficiency within our procurement process and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
As Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Identifying areas of inefficiency within the procurement process
  • Implementing improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent/relevant education in accounting. A minimum of 3 years of relevant AP experience is required, as well as proficiency in MS applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You must be meticulous and numerically inclined, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
