Visual Inspection Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Visual Inspection Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing PC-based automated visual inspection systems for our full range of semiconductor equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PC-based automated visual inspection systems for our full range of semiconductor equipment.
- Evaluate and feasibility study on the customer's vision specifications.
- Responsible to integrate any new vision hardware (camera, frame grabber, etc) onto the vision software.
- Troubleshooting and improve the processing time of the inspection.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers to fulfill the inspection requirements.
- Change the vision inspection algorithm to improve the inspection capabilities and its performance.
- Be the key driver for continuous improvement plans for new and existing inspection capabilities.
- Coordinate with customer for any new enquiry with sale personnel if needed.
- Work closely with the vision application and optics team members to produce the best inspection result.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in related field.
- Technical troubleshooting experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Relevant technical work experience including automation machine system troubleshooting.
- Experience working with end customers.
- Understanding semi-conductor manufacturing process, vision inspection settings, machine software settings and configuration.
