Job Title: Senior Care Support Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Care Support Associate. This role requires providing exceptional care and support to seniors in their daily lives, while also maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with basic and instrumental activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, feeding, and transfers.
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and clean environment in both household and common areas.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families through regular interactions.
  • Identify and manage behavioral concerns among seniors, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Plan and facilitate recreational and therapeutic programs for seniors, including those with dementia and mental health conditions.
  • Supervise and engage seniors to encourage active participation in center activities.
  • Monitor and document seniors' participation levels in programs.
  • Conduct range of motion exercises and mobility training.
  • Incorporate maintenance rehabilitation activities into seniors' daily routines.
  • Observe and record seniors' responses and progress during sessions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'N' Level or relevant certificate.
  • Preferably holds a Certificate in Healthcare Support, WSQ Home Care certification, or related qualification.
