We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Early Childhood Leader to join our team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading our preschool, setting the direction for parent partnership, community engagement and talent management. They will work closely with teachers to identify professional goals and provide guidance, resources and opportunities for career advancement.
In this role, you will oversee event planning, staff appraisal, budget planning and collaboration with parents to foster strong home-school partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide effective leadership and ensure centre viability by inspiring and nurturing children and their communities.
- Offer mentorship to professional teachers and enable them to fulfill their aspirations.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the centre.
- Oversee event planning of the centre and various community initiatives.
- Plan centre budget and conduct staff appraisal.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify professional goals and provide guidance, resources, and opportunities for career advancement.
- Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Degree in any discipline, with Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL).
- At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience in a childcare setting including infant care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with passion in equipping and inspiring young lives.
- Strong knowledge in curriculum and pedagogy.
- Experience in leading and managing the team in SPARK Accreditation process as well as licensing.
