Job Summary

DBS Bank is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our syndicated finance team in Institutional Banking Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating and structuring syndicated loans and financing solutions for our corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and structure syndicated loans and financing solutions for corporate clients in the region.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers to execute syndicated loan transactions.
  • Lead the transaction execution team and provide guidance on deal structuring and negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and investors to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution team to determine bidding strategy for syndicated loan proposals.
  • Analyze borrowers' needs and prepare pitches to present to investors.
  • Prepare proposals, termsheets, and cash flow models for syndicated loan transactions.
  • Provide underwriting and market intelligence to support deal execution.
  • Negotiate and coordinate terms with Bank Arrangers.
  • Lead the documentation and due diligence process for syndicated loan transactions.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance, Banking, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in corporate banking and syndicated loan origination.
  • Experience in credit analysis and corporate banking.
  • Documentation knowledge.
  • Experience in structured transactions and leverage buyouts.
  • Comfortable with cash flow modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in originating and distributing syndicated loans.
  • Regional experience.
  • Managerial experience is a plus.
