Job Description

This is a planning position within the Outsourcing Subcontractor (Assy and Test) Management organization. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the booking of ST capacity needs with our outsourcing subcontractors (OSAT), focusing on Test (wafer sort & final test).

  1. This involves understanding the outsourcing capacity available for your assigned portfolio against Demand Forecast(S&OP) plan, managing allocations between various plants (internal and external), and aligning the plan with the dynamic evolution of demand.
  2. The successful candidate will drive monthly S&OP exercises with OSATs for assigned product portfolios, book capacity, and material requirements with subcontractors.
  3. The person will also coordinate control tower reviews with groups (demand & availability alignment calls), work with technical and quality teams for new equipment ramps, and drive OSAT to support missing capacity and/or material shortages.
  4. In addition, they will collaborate with Regional Operation Teams to synchronize demand with daily execution and gather market intelligence in terms of capacity availability.
  5. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with OSAT while driving their KPIs to meet ST targets is another key responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree or diploma with equivalent experience in engineering.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably.
  3. Strong knowledge of MS Advanced Excel, database (MS Access), and big data analysis.
  4. Technical knowledge of semiconductors packaging and test.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. A strong drive, able to work under tight deadlines, accountable, and consistent in problem-solving.
  7. Team player with good negotiation skills.
  8. Good with numbers, attention to detail, and meticulous.
