Job Overview
As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Team Leader in executing projects as part of the project team. This role involves providing technical support at various stages of the project, including conceptual design, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, contract administration, site meetings, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Team Leader in project execution.
- Provide technical support in project stages such as conceptual design, design development, and contract documentation.
- Prepare schematic design, layout, calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
- Liaise with external consultant teams, architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues.
- Supervise and review the work of Assistant Engineers, Designers, and/or Drafters in the project team.
- Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues and improvement on design standards.
- Develop technical knowledge and competency.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering).
- No prior work experience is required.
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in Engineering - Civil and Structural or equivalent.
