Job Title

A Swim Coach is required to support the Aquatics Coordinator in delivering the curricular and co-curricular swimming programme for the school.

This role involves coaching students of all ages and levels during curriculum PE & Health lessons, as well as delivering swimming lessons and coaching as part of the co-curricular enrichment programme.

About the Role
  1. Teaching and Coaching: Deliver swimming lessons and coaching to students of all ages and levels during curriculum PE & Health lessons and as part of the co-curricular enrichment programme.
  2. Team Coaching: Coach swim teams at all levels.
  3. Programme Promotion: Promote the swim programme amongst the school community.
Responsibilities
  1. Lesson Delivery: Assist with the planning, organisation, and delivery of co-curricular swimming sessions, swimming team events, competitions, galas (home or away), weekend swimming sessions and other swimming-related activities.
  2. Support: Support the Aquatics Coordinator and the Director of Sport in the achievement of the school's swim programme objectives and development goals.
Administrative Duties
  1. General Administration: Assist with administrative tasks in the Sport and PE & Health Department, as directed.
  2. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, colleagues by responding promptly to queries and attending relevant meetings and other events.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Data Protection: Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
  2. Safeguarding: Abide by the school safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changes.
