Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling: Count the shift starting cash in the drawer and ensure it matches the opening balance set by management. Set up the float (starting cash) for the day and maintain accurate records.
  • Transaction Processing: Efficiently process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and other accepted methods. Provide customers with accurate and timely receipts.
  • Customer Service: Offer friendly greetings to each customer upon arrival and express gratitude after each transaction. Address any issues or complaints from customers courteously and escalate to a manager if necessary.
  • Cash Drawer Management: Ensure the cash drawer remains balanced and alert management to any discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of cash transactions.
