HVAC Project Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Project Engineer with strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with HVAC systems. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for designing, calculating, and preparing bills of materials for HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project design, calculations, and preparation of bills of materials for HVAC projects.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to address technical queries and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of design and construction documents.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide clarification on engineering matters with clients and vendors.
  • Coordinate design efforts with other engineering disciplines to ensure project integration.
  • Support construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Identify company's scope of work within each assigned project.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC system calculations, including cooling capacity, pressure drop, and duct sizing.
  • Experienced in HVAC and duct installation.
  • Familiar with creating and interpreting P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), air flow diagrams, and DID (Ducting & Instrumentation Diagrams).
  • Basic understanding of pipe sizing, selection, and installation.
  • Basic knowledge of fire suppression systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing and design.
  • Competent in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
