This key role is a chance to drive and own a global supply chain that optimizes delivery, cash flow, and the cost of goods sold for assigned commodities, products, or projects. Our goal is to lead time and cost reduction while ensuring supply base consolidation and optimization.

Some primary objectives include:

  • Improving on-time delivery and reducing Clear-to-Built
  • Covering contracts and supplier agreements
  • Managing NPIs and Product Transfers successfully

Supplier Management Responsibilities:

  • Aligning supplier selection with our global supply strategy and approved supplier list
  • Manages key supplier and outsource integration partner relationships, cost optimization, product transfers/launches
  • Defines sourcing contracts/supply agreements, ensuring contractual agreements are in place addressing flow-down requirements, capacity, cost, and commercial requirements
  • Works with suppliers to improve Scorecards and KPIs

Supply Chain Project Management Focus:

  • Identifying and leading continuous improvement opportunities across the global supply chain
  • Driving process improvements and resolving complex supply chain issues using methodologies like 8D reports
  • Establishing plans for supply risk mitigation, such as identifying floor stocks, Safety Stocks, VMI/Kanban, long-lead-time mitigation plans
  • Benchmarking and driving cost reduction plans and actions with assigned suppliers

We're looking for an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, ability to identify root cause for action/resolution, and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis, and negotiation, planning, master scheduling, and program management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain, commodity management, or NPI-related functions & 10 years operations experience preferred
  • Good understanding of contract manufacturing environments and managing global commodity strategies through third-party providers
  • Proven record of managing and driving Continuous Process Improvement activities

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development within Ichor Systems.
