They aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally by leveraging a strategic approach to customer service, sales, and supply chain management.
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Developing a targeted customer service approach to achieve and exceed annual sales quotas and margin targets for assigned accounts.
- Building and sustaining strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges to effectively manage their supply chain.
- Overseeing inventory programs while evaluating risks and opportunities to enhance fulfillment processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer escalations, such as shortages, production line interruptions, or quality concerns, and managing processes.
- Ensuring timely ordering of parts to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Identifying key overseas parts for cost-of-goods-sold reduction and leading deflationary initiatives.
- Driving process improvements for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring prompt and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Analyzing customer forecasts and usage trends to predict future demands and optimize stocking levels, considering lead times.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role within the supply chain industry.
- A solid foundation in program management, sales, or service and skills in defining and executing program requirements from end to end.
- Strong knowledge of industrial components (mechanical/electrical products, fasteners, fabricated goods).
- Negotiation, problem-solving, effective communication, and influencing decisions at senior levels.
- Motivation, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent time management skills and capacity to manage multiple projects.
