Cloud Database Solutions Specialist

The role of Database Customer Engineer is to assist customers in utilizing Google Cloud databases effectively. This involves working closely with the customer to understand their current database environment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions using Google Cloud databases.
Responsibilities:- Be a subject matter expert for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) database portfolios like Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, or cloud-native databases like Cloud Spanner or Cloud Bigtable.
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, identify customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Lead discovery workshops for customers to assess existing application environments to identify workloads and goals for moving to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) databases.
- Support the technical relationship with Google's customers including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
