Job Title: Senior Learning and Development Executive

Job Summary:

The Senior Learning and Development Executive will play a key role in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating Learning and Development programs and initiatives to support the business strategies and learning needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the discussion with business groups to review functional competency maps and develop learning roadmaps.
  • Review with stakeholders to determine requirements and administer the completion of compulsory training.
  • Organize regular meetings with business groups to update training status and projects.
  • Organize SLNG101 program and workshop for new hires.
  • Assist in contextualizing and implementing in-house programs for people managers and targeted employees.
  • Discuss with business groups and internal subject matter experts/external training providers to organize in-house training/sharing sessions.
  • Identify learning outcomes and develop agendas with requestors and providers to organize external and overseas visits.
  • Provide advice/coaching to business groups on individual development plans and learning matters.
  • Assist with the facilitation of Train-the-Trainer programs for OJT developers, trainers, and assessors.
  • Administer external course requests for employees on approvals, course registrations, payments, evaluation, and record update in the Learning Management System.
  • Lead in the operation and enhancement of SuccessFactors and in-house IT systems.
  • Update Learning and Development activities in the SLNG Employee Handbook and in-house shared folders.
  • Participate in all internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in an L&D role, preferably in a process or engineering-related industry.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills - able to communicate with impact, clarity, and empathy.
  • Have a growth mindset and able to adapt to changes based on business requirements.
  • Able to build trust and establish credibility by gaining confidence of stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in using SAP SuccessFactors CDP and LMS modules will be an advantage.

Education Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Business or Engineering-related from a reputable institution.
  • Certification in Adult Education or Train-the-Trainer is preferred.
