Job Description">

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Intern to support our real-time data streaming needs. This is an excellent opportunity for early career talent to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining operation pipelines using Apache Kafka.

As a DevOps Intern, you will work closely with senior engineers to ensure our Kafka infrastructure is robust and efficient. You will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Kafka clusters, monitor performance metrics, and troubleshoot issues.

You will also support the development and maintenance of Kafka-based data pipelines, work with development teams to integrate Kafka into applications, and help maintain documentation for Kafka configurations and procedures.

This role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, good communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Basic understanding of Apache Kafka and its components (brokers, topics, producers, consumers)
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and real-time data processing concepts
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages
  • Understanding of network protocols and data serialization formats (e.g., Avro, JSON)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data streaming and messaging systems
