Senior Data Engineer - Real-Time Data Transformation Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance, and reliable real-time data streaming pipelines.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance, and reliable real-time data streaming pipelines.
- Implement and manage our data lakehouse architecture, ensuring data is efficiently stored, organized, and accessible for various analytical and operational use cases.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from a wide variety of source systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and provide clean, reliable datasets.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our data infrastructure to ensure high availability and data quality.
- Implement data governance and security best practices within the data platform.
- Evaluate and adopt new data technologies and tools to enhance our data platform's capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, architectures, and processes.
- Experience in streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or Azure Event Hub.
- Experience working with data lake and/or lakehouse architectures such as Hadoop, Delta Lake, Iceberg, and Microsoft OneLake.
