Debt Recovery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Debt Recovery Specialist to join our collections team.

The role involves engaging with customers to negotiate payments, resolve account issues and support overall recovery efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in debt collection and be able to effectively communicate with customers to achieve assigned targets and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to customers to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate repayment arrangements.
  • Achieve assigned collection targets and KPIs while ensuring timely collections.
  • Respond to customer enquiries regarding accounts and finance charges in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and track the status of delinquent accounts and investigate cases to support effective recovery strategies.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in debt recovery or collections.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with banking procedures and regulations.
