Job Role Overview

As a Regional Study Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of lab services within your region. This includes managing clinical projects, liaising with global teams, and collaborating with study managers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well as experience working in a matrix environment. They should also be an innovative thinker who can contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Project Management: Manage clinical projects to ensure successful delivery of lab services, including kit shipment, sample testing, and sample management.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Act as regional liaison between global teams and departments involved in the clinical protocol.
  • Regional Feasibility: Review the study Statement of Work to ensure regional feasibility and make recommendations.
  • Study Activities: Manage day-to-day regional study activities, including responding to challenges in logistics, lab tests, monitoring, and study supplies.
  • Issue Monitoring: Monitor, track, and resolve local study issues while keeping the global study manager informed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
  • Professional Experience: Relevant professional/internship experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to use computer and office software applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, influence, and negotiation skills.
  • Planning and Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize, communicate and organize.
