Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clinical projects to ensure successful delivery of lab services, including kit shipment, sample testing, and sample management.
  • Act as regional liaison between global teams and departments involved in the clinical protocol.
  • Closely collaborate with the global study manager for all study-related aspects pertaining to Asia platforms and stages.
  • Review the study Statement of Work to ensure regional feasibility and make recommendations.
  • Ensure detailed knowledge of Statement of Work specifications and their impact on lab services.
  • Manage day-to-day regional study activities, including responding to challenges in logistics, lab tests, monitoring, and study supplies.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve local study issues while keeping the global study manager informed.
  • Implement monitoring and set up local performance metrics and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Liaise with the global study manager for assigned tasks as part of the Global Monitoring Plan.
  • Work in a matrix environment, demonstrating flexibility in handling task assignments.
  • Participate in functional meetings and learning forums, providing input and keeping processes up to date.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
  • Relevant professional/internship experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Ability to use computer and office software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, influence, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize, communicate and organize.
  • Attention to detail, proven ability to excel in fast-paced environments, and teamwork.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of departmental processes and tools.
  • Ability to liaise with internal departments, facilitate meetings, and participate in process improvement initiatives.
