**Job Title:** Director of Enterprise Risk Management (2nd Line of Defense)
OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to serve as the regional lead for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in APAC, operating within the Second Line of Defense (2LoD).
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary ERM point of contact in APAC, representing the Risk 2LoD in local regulatory meetings, governance forums, and regional leadership discussions.
- Lead the execution of ERM programs in the region, including risk appetite monitoring, emerging risk oversight, and enterprise risk assessments aligned with internal frameworks and regional regulations.
- Provide independent oversight and challenge of 1LoD risk activities—including risk identification, RCSAs, and control design—ensuring consistency with our ERM standards and appetite.
- Conduct and oversee region-specific regulatory enterprise risk assessments, including MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) and operational resilience requirements.
- Lead emerging risk identification and horizon scanning, producing thematic insights and escalating regionally significant issues to the global ERM team.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise or operational risk management within financial services or FinTech, with regional exposure across APAC.
- Strong understanding of 2LoD responsibilities, risk governance, and risk oversight principles.
- Proven track record in horizon scanning, risk assessment, and regulatory engagement, particularly with MAS, HKMA, ASIC, or similar bodies.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to operational resilience, technology risk, and enterprise risk governance in APAC.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Risk Management.
- Professional certifications such as FRM, CRISC, Prince2/PMP or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and influence senior audiences.
