Job Description:

  • Prepare surfaces by thoroughly cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and applying primers to ensure a smooth base coat.
  • Mix and apply paints, varnishes, sealants and protective coatings using appropriate tools such as brushes, rollers or spray guns to achieve the desired finish.
  • Perform touch-ups, retouching and repair works as needed to maintain the highest level of quality.
  • Protect non-paintable areas with masking tape, drop cloths or protective coverings to prevent damage.
  • Ensure accurate color matching and smooth finishing techniques are consistently met.
  • Maintain painting tools, spray guns and equipment in good working condition at all times.
  • Follow strict safety procedures, especially when working at heights, with chemicals or in confined spaces, to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with other trades and site workers to meet project deadlines and deliver results efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a painter in construction or industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with various types of paints, coatings and surface preparation methods is essential.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or outdoors is necessary.
  • Knowledge of paint mixing, matching and finishing techniques is required.
  • Excellent eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship is crucial.
