Job Overview

We seek an accomplished Executive Sous Chef to spearhead our kitchen team, assisting the Executive Chef in developing menu concepts and driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Extensive experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Head Chef in a luxury hotel setting;
  • A culinary degree or equivalent expertise;
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate and train junior team members;
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols;
  • Expertise in managing payroll costs and maintaining high standards of quality control.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that meet customer expectations;
  2. Lead the kitchen team in achieving exceptional food quality and presentation standards;
  3. Mentor and train junior staff members in culinary techniques and procedures;
  4. Ensure efficient inventory management and minimize waste;
  5. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and execute strategic plans for culinary operations.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success as an Executive Sous Chef or Head Chef in a similar environment;
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation or equivalent experience;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers;
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of professionalism and discretion.
