Job Overview

The role of Product and Business Development Manager involves overseeing a diverse range of semiconductor and electronic component products in regional and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage semiconductor and electronic component products for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers, and independent distributors.
  • Establish relationships with regional agents and global trading partners to ensure seamless supply chain alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and Research and Development teams to understand technical requirements and provide suitable component solutions.
  • Pursue new sales opportunities to enhance market share in high-volume and niche component segments.
  • Support existing clients to drive satisfaction, retention, and repeat orders.
  • Advise on product specifications, compatibility, and applications to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Respond promptly to pricing, availability, order status, and logistics inquiries.
  • Follow up after sales to troubleshoot issues and maintain ongoing client relationships.
  • Monitor sales results and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); prepare regular reports to inform strategy and improve forecasts.
  • Handle inbound inquiries and follow up on leads quickly and professionally to convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to complete orders efficiently and keep customers satisfied.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor and electronic components, including their uses and market trends.
  • Experience working with agents, distributors, and trading partners in the electronics supply chain.
  • Good understanding of sales channels and distribution models in the semiconductor sector.
