Early Years Educator Role

This role involves working with young children to foster their development and growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote the centre's vision, mission, and values by ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Foster relationships with families to facilitate continuity of care and learning between home and school through effective communication
  • Coordinate activities with families and community stakeholders to ensure seamless integration
  • Develop and implement programmes and services in collaboration with families, caregivers, community stakeholders, and volunteers to meet diverse needs
  • Evaluate family and community initiatives and programmes for improvements and make data-driven decisions
  • Conduct routine caregiving tasks with attention to detail and professionalism

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) or equivalent
  • Registration with ECDA and attainment of EY1/EY2 certification
  • Able to work professionally, independently, and efficiently with good classroom and management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
  • Ability to execute reflective practice and adopt responsive care-giving approaches
