Job Title: Young Children Advocate

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to support our teaching team in delivering high-quality education to young children.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the main teacher to develop and implement lesson plans that align with our curriculum framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Prepare and set up engaging learning materials and resources for daily activities.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as songs, games, and storytelling that promote language and literacy skills.
  • Assist in maintaining a tidy, organized, and resourceful classroom that reflects our commitment to excellence.
  • Support the observation and recording of children's development and progress.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues when required.
  • Adhere to our centre's policies, guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
  • Provide guidance to children on developing respect for themselves, others, and their environment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education, or relevant experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the main teacher and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to our centre's policies at all times.
