Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Infant Care Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers aged 2-18 months.

Your primary objective is to facilitate the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of your students through engaging activities and play-based learning.

You will ensure that our curriculum and enrichment program are implemented effectively, and monitor children's progress while maintaining accurate records.

  • Lecturing and Mentoring: Conduct lessons based on our established preschool curriculum and enrichment program.
  • Child Progress Tracking: Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Classroom Management: Manage the classroom effectively and create a welcoming learning environment.
  • Curriculum Design: Design and set up learning corners that promote exploration and discovery.
  • Routine Care Duties: Perform routine care duties such as feeding, bathing, and changing diapers.
  • Centre Events: Participate in centre events and activities that foster socialization and community building.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of safety and hygiene in the classroom.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other teaching staff to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
  • Parent Partnerships: Develop and maintain close partnerships with parents to ensure seamless transitions and support.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess certification in Early Childhood Education (CIT, HCIC, or ACEY), a genuine passion for working with young children and their families, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
