Job Title: Tax Administration Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tax Administration Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in the administration of the Electronic Tourist Refund Scheme (eTRS) and provide tourists with a seamless GST refund experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth administration of eTRS and provide tourists with an exceptional GST refund experience.
  • Maintaining the eTRS system that supports tourist refund processes and operations, in partnership with the Infocomm Division.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the eTRS system and improve ground operations, service delivery and tourist experience.
  • Conducting compliance programmes and audits to detect and recover wrongful tourist refunds.
  • Managing procurements relating to the administration of eTRS, using various procurement approaches such as invitation to tender, in partnership with the Finance and Procurement Branch.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in project management, procurement approaches or software testing.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with a curious mindset to question and probe.
