Key Role in Business Process Alignment

A vital member of our team, the System Analyst plays a critical role in aligning business processes with project objectives. This involves working closely with business users to bridge the gaps between them and the technical solution team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to prepare detailed documentation of processes and workflows. They will be responsible for articulating business requirements to the technical team and vice versa, ensuring that IT solutions meet business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve business processes and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Work with vendors to resolve process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of processes, workflows, and business requirements.
  • Bridge the gap between business and IT by clearly articulating business needs to the technical team and technical propositions to the business context.
  • Facilitate workshops with users and vendors to plan and deploy IT solutions.
  • Review and critique vendor deliverables and offer recommendations to project managers.
  • Develop and obtain acceptance on test plans in collaboration with business users.
  • Manage and perform functional testing of systems before release to business users.
  • Support user acceptance test planning and automated/manual testing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a System or Business Analyst in an insurance domain.
  • Experience in health insurance is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of database structures, data mining, and mapping/transformation.
  • Proven track record of successful project implementation.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
