Job Opportunity in Palliative Care

This role involves providing specialized medical care to patients and families in a hospital setting.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience working with interdisciplinary teams and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess patient needs upon admission and during regular reviews, identifying areas for targeted support.
  2. Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as part of our rotational schedule.
  3. Clinical procedures will be performed where necessary.
  4. Patient assessments, goals, and plans of care will be thoroughly documented.
  5. New doctors on attachment will receive comprehensive orientation.
  6. Active participation in educational activities such as Journal Club and tutorials is expected.
  7. Medical students and visitors on attachment will be guided and supported.
  8. The team will work together to facilitate access to supportive care services.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A recognized medical qualification is required.
  • Ongoing CME requirements must be met, and good standing with the Singapore Medical Council is essential.
  • At least 2 years of medical practice, including 1 year in acute medicine with on-call experience, is necessary.
  • Work experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Oncology, Geriatrics, or related specialties is advantageous.
