Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Institutional Sales Representative. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients in the South Asia and MENA (Middle East) region.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Sales Execution: Drive sales of exchange-traded and exchange-cleared OTC derivatives products to targeted clients, generating commissions from institutional client base.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing client portfolios, increasing existing institutional business by increasing share of client business.
- New Business Development: Identify and onboard new institutional clients, developing and maintaining internal relationships with other channels and functional teams.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the target market, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
- Education: Degree holder in a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years' experience in sales trading/dealing with institutional clients or institutional sales experience preferred.
- Licenses: Must possess locally required licenses.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with major global exchanges (e.g. SGX, HKEX, CME, ICE, LME etc.) needed.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated individual, with a commitment to excellence, excellent communication skills and ability to deal with clients, ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organisation.
