Mechanical Design Lead

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Lead to oversee the development of precision mechanical machines and semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in designing and developing precision mechanical machines and semiconductor equipment.
  • Manage project design, costing, and timelines to ensure high standards are met.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to develop Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Collaborate with test development teams to support manufacturing requirements and factory acceptance.
  • Manage and maintain intellectual property related to mechanical designs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in precision engineering, equipment, and automation design.
  • At least 1-2 years' managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge in high precision manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment and test automation is an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset with strong organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and statistical software.
