The ideal candidate should have experience in financial aid or bursary handling, with a strong background in customer service and communication. A diploma in any discipline is required, and at least 2 years of experience in an administrative, finance, or customer-facing role is preferred.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and coordinating financial aid activities, including managing timelines and disseminating updates via circulars
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the financial aid website with accurate and current information
  • Reviewing and evaluating submitted financial aid documentation, ensuring prompt follow-up on missing or incomplete submissions
  • Processing and assessing applications for financial aid schemes, including selection and award decisions

 

Additional tasks may include organizing and coordinating donor bursary interviews and related activities, supporting the administration of scholarships by working closely with faculties and development offices, and providing financial counselling and recommending suitable financial schemes based on an assessment of students' financial needs.
