Clinical Department Leadership Role

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of assigned clinical departments, ensuring an efficient and personalized service. They will lead in key areas of hospital service development.
- Partner with the designated Head of Department to develop and operational manage clinical services throughout the care continuum.
- Jointly account with Clinical Heads of Departments in meeting business, financial and operational performance indicators.
- Collaborate with Chair of Clinical Division and Heads of Clinical Departments on regular review of Clinical Department/service line performance indicators.
- Assist Director/Deputy Director/Senior Manager of Operations and assigned HODs on matters related to clinical service strategies and implementation plan.
- Develop and execute business plans to improve workload identified for growth.
- Work closely with Clinical HODs and Operation HODs to raise the profile and image of the department and its doctors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Leadership skills with ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with ability to collaborate well and build relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Methodical and precise with strong skills in project management, time management, and numerical proficiency.
- Knowledge of computer software and statistics is a plus.
