Our organization is seeking an accomplished professional to assume the role of Alumni Relations Director. This is a key position that will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing programs aimed at fostering lifelong connections with our esteemed alumni.


Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and engage contributing alumni through personalized communication and targeted initiatives.
  • Develop and implement mentorship and professional development programs tailored to support alumni growth.
  • Co-coordinate major events such as reunions, speaker series, and networking sessions.
  • Conceive strategies for enhancing alumni donations and philanthropic involvement.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the alumni database, as well as communications through online platforms and social media channels.
  • Conduct surveys to gather alumni feedback, assess program effectiveness, and report outcomes.
  • Manage Alumni Association governance, budgets, and timelines.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Domain knowledge in Alumni/stakeholder relations, advancement, events management, and community or professional network engagement.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in alumni relations and/or advancement and an understanding of the higher education landscape or professional/industry associations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and excellent writing abilities.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills and project/vendor management abilities with the capacity to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment while also working independently and being self-motivated.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing webinars and engagement programs, preferably in an alumni relations or higher education setting.
