Senior Officer, Wholesale Banking Operations

About the Role
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies, large corporations, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform timely reviews for trigger events of existing customers and associated tasks, such as public domain searches, preparing KYC checklists, and updating static data.
- Ensure all AML risk issues have been assessed and identified, and approvals have been obtained.
- Ensure data accuracy in systems and documents.
- Perform Name Screening and send for approval, and escalate material name hits to BU/Compliance for clearance where necessary.
- Verify information/documents submitted by customers comply with Regulatory and Bank's requirements.
- Assist with remediation (e.g. Audit) when required.
- Develop good relationships with both internal and external customers and provide excellent customer service.
- General administrative and ad-hoc responsibilities (e.g. management reporting, test of controls, scanning and archiving).
Requirements
- Degree Graduate.
- Maintaining a high degree of knowledge of MAS626 regulations and Bank's AML/CFT policy.
- Candidate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Meticulous, analytical, self-starter, performance driven, and committed to results.
- Team player.
- Good command of English and strong documentation skills to clearly articulate assessments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
