Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Job Description:

Develop and enhance 3D models for ongoing and past projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all disciplines. Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to create, review, and organize models and data from various sources.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and coordinating models for multiple projects
  • Reviewing and organizing models and data collected from 3rd party sources (CAD & Model)
  • Working on multiple discipline models
  • Assisting with QA/QC coordination
  • Change Order Processing
  • Tracking milestones through project phases
  • Communicating with clients via phone and email
  • Ensuring project operations comply with company standards and client requirements
  • Documenting project issues and communicating effectively with clients
  • Assisting with resource planning
  • Developing and promoting new strategies for BIM model efficiency
  • Performing quality analysis tests to ensure product consistency with plans
  • Liaising with architects, clients, and civil engineers
  • Training team members on BIM model development and software use
  • Upgrading the organization's BIM model with advancements in technology
  • Managing a technical team and coordinating with senior project architects
  • Assisting in construction document production and other deliverables
  • Assisting with Naviswork Manage – clash detection add-on to REVIT
  • Assisting with Naviswork – construction programming / phasing add-on to REVIT
  • Assisting with Primavera & Microsoft Project for 4D simulation
  • Assisting with Core-net BIM Submission, Authorities Submission

Requirements:

A successful candidate will have:

  • Diploma/Degree in Structural/Architecture/Engineering/Construction/MEP or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in building construction and project execution
  • Knowledge and experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks
  • Good technical knowledge and planning skills in managing modelling and drafting works
  • Good communication, writing & interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and proactive mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, under pressure and meet submission deadlines
