Position Overview

The Kannon Franchise Pricing Strategy team operates within the Group Strategic Analytics division, which encompasses all asset classes. This team merges expertise in quantitative analysis, modeling, pricing, and risk management with a profound understanding of system architecture and programming. The primary goal is to create a scalable and adaptable Front Office pricing and risk management system that maintains a consistent interface with both the Middle Office and Back Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the E-trading platform
  • Assist business desks with inquiries related to pricing, risk, and market data
  • Develop and support pricing and market data components within the core library
  • Collaborate closely with other strategic teams to leverage foundational risk platform functionalities and execute broader strategic initiatives
  • Aid in the establishment of a global markets strategic analytics platform in collaboration with Corporate and Investment Bank Technology
  • Support the migration of global markets businesses to a unified strategic analytics platform

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience in an investment banking or financial institution setting, focusing on products such as rates and foreign exchange
  • Demonstrated programming proficiency in C/C++
  • Familiarity with Python and Java is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong background in quantitative analysis, pricing, and risk management within a financial services context
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with trading desks and support functions globally, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn, embrace new challenges, and deliver comprehensive solutions for production use
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or financial engineering
