About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in optimizing our air freight operations. As an Air Network Planner I, you will be responsible for collaborating with senior engineers to analyze air traffic patterns, market demand, and regulatory requirements to develop efficient and cost-effective air network designs.
You will assess and manage cargo capacity to meet demand, considering factors such as aircraft capacity, scheduling, and seasonal fluctuations. Additionally, you will assist in evaluating the feasibility and viability of potential new routes or network expansions by conducting thorough route performance analysis and risk assessments.
Responsibilities- Air Network Design and Planning: Collaborate with senior engineers to design and optimize air networks that meet customer demands while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cargo Capacity Management: Assess and manage cargo capacity to meet demand, considering factors such as aircraft capacity, scheduling, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Route Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough route performance analysis and risk assessments to evaluate the feasibility and viability of potential new routes or network expansions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, airspace restrictions, and environmental policies in all network planning activities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in data analysis, air freight planning, logistics, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used in air freight planning and logistics, understanding of international air freight regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements, and attention to detail.
