The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the firm's credit risk management framework, policies, and governance in alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a robust credit risk management framework, assessing and managing counterparty, issuer, and settlement risk exposures, overseeing credit assessments for clients, brokers, clearing members, and counterparties, and leading the due diligence and approval process for new counterparties and credit transactions.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have the ability to monitor exposures daily, ensuring adherence to approved limits, and escalate breaches or potential concerns.

The Head of Credit Risk will collaborate with front-office, legal, operations, and compliance teams to evaluate the credit risk implications of new products, trading strategies, and business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
  • At least 10 years of experience in credit risk, preferably in banking, securities, fintech, or capital markets
  • Familiarity with credit risk tools and frameworks
  • Ability to lead a lean team
