We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Manager/Senior Manager in the field of Budget Evaluation and Funding Policy.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who share our passion for driving change and shaping the future of our workforce through strategic planning, resource optimization, and effective budget management.

As a key member of our Planning Group, you will be responsible for providing guidance on the strategic direction of our organization and overseeing the effective planning of resources to achieve our goals.

The ideal candidate will have up to 6 years of relevant work experience in managing or reviewing funding policies for the Manager role and at least 6 years of relevant work experience in managing or reviewing funding policies for the Senior Manager role.

You will be expected to collaborate effectively with individuals/teams internally and externally, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills, and demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong skills in numerical calculation and statistical analysis, is also required.

  • Policymaking: Develop and review funding policies that support our initiatives and align with our objectives.
  • Budget Evaluation: Evaluate budget requests for funding of programme partners from Divisions, make recommendations for approval by the Internal Approving Authority.
  • Secretariat Support: Serve as the secretariat for the Budget and Resource Allocation Committee (BRAC) and Grants Committee (GC) meetings, ensuring effective documentation and follow-up on decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Handle and prepare responses to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding our funding policies, foster positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain a knowledge management repository of project budget approvals to ensure easy access to information and documentation for stakeholders.
