At NTU, we are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to contribute to the development of AI-powered ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing AI and signal processing techniques for accurate tree root detection and imaging. Your expertise in electromagnetics and radar sensing will be essential in enhancing the existing ultra-wideband (UWB)-GPR technology. You will also perform field measurements and fuse the existing technology with other sensing technologies.

Requirements:
  • MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Solid background in electromagnetics and radar sensing and signal processing
  • Experience in AI algorithm development
  • Publishing record
  • High academic credentials from a reputable institution
  • Proficiency in Matlab and Python
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electromagnetics, radar sensing, and signal processing. Experience in AI algorithm development and publishing records is an advantage. Proficiency in Matlab and Python is also required. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for success in this role.
