Job Description:

The Managing Director will lead the company's energy business growth in Africa region from our Singapore office.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Energy Business Growth Strategy: The Managing Director will develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to achieve the company's energy business targets in Africa region.
  2. Market Analysis and Research: The candidate will deeply understand relevant laws, policies, market trends, competitive situation, etc. of the energy storage industry in local markets, power grid policies, and regions.
  3. Regional Sales Strategy: The Managing Director will lead the development of regional energy storage product sales strategy and report progress and market analysis to ensure products comply with local laws and standards.
  4. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain customer relationships, expand market channels, and promote brand visibility through exhibition activities.
  5. Project Information Collection and Screening: Collect, screen, reserve, and follow up on project information, identify feasibility, and reach cooperation agreements with customers.
  6. Resource Coordination: Coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery, quality, quantity, and payment collection.
  7. Team Leadership: Lead and manage regional marketing team, motivate members to achieve goals.
  8. Marketing Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budget for proper allocation and effective use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major not limited.
  • More than 5 years working experience in energy storage industry, supporting whole process of landing energy storage projects, and familiar with new energy or energy storage industry resources.
  • Understand current market situation, trends, scale, and industry policies; possess background in power systems and energy storage technology.
  • Familiar with key account development, large project sales, bidding, project management, data analysis, and proficient in Office software.
  • Fluent in English and Swahili, able to conduct technical and business negotiations.
