Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our warehouse operations team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for strategically managing the warehouse to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking, ensuring optimal product availability and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices in warehousing, handling, and shipping operations.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse environment.
  • Develop and implement effective stock control and reconciliation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data storage systems.
  • Coach and develop warehouse staff to enhance their skills and performance, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and open communication among team members.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and coach team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions, using data-driven insights to drive business outcomes.
