Lead Engineer - Design and Implementation

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of complex industrial control systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, process control, and instrumentation, with extensive experience in managing teams and interfacing with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

About the Role

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from concept to implementation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within specifications, and meeting industrial standards. This includes leading and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing the development of control logic, CMS programming, HMI interfaces, and Sub-Control systems, and ensuring seamless communication and synchronization of control components.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in ICA engineering, preferably in planning, design, SAT/FAT, and construction of major waste-to-energy, water, wastewater, process plant projects or similar major industrial projects
  • Robust experience in managing a team of suitably experienced design engineers and technicians
  • Familiarity with code of practice and standards in Singapore
  • Experience with Revit/AutoCAD Plant 3D preferred, and other related design software applications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and work overtime to meet deadlines
