Engineer for Industrial Control Systems

Seeking an Engineer with expertise in the design, integration, and validation of industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex projects involving DCS, ESD, F&G, and SCADA systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering team to develop ICSS systems that meet project specifications and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure system architecture aligns with project requirements.
  • Review and approve technical documents, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O lists.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring all systems comply with IEC 61508/61511 standards and adhere to cybersecurity requirements. They will also provide engineering support during installation, troubleshooting, and final handover stages.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in ICSS engineering, preferably in offshore platforms (FPSO/FPU).
  • Practical experience with control systems from Yokogawa, Honeywell, or Emerson.
  • Solid understanding of safety instrumented systems and industrial communication protocols.
