Purchasing Executive Job Description

This is a key role in our organization responsible for the effective management of purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Market List Requests through EPB System or New System.
  • Verify goods receiving entries and submit invoices to Accounts Payable upon completion.
  • Create POS keys, validate details, and activate them upon approval by Cost Controller.
  • Follow up with vendors on outstanding orders, delivery shortfalls, ETA delivery dates, price discrepancies, and incorrect billing information.
  • Assist in sourcing new items and RFQs when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in F&B or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems such as EPB or similar platforms.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail in processing purchase orders, goods receiving, and invoice verification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, for vendor communication and data tracking.
  • Good understanding of inventory control, SKU management, and purchase order processes.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors, chefs, and internal departments.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple requests within tight deadlines.
  • Positive work attitude, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to meeting operational needs.
