Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the procurement manager in executing daily procurement activities and ensuring seamless execution of all procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the procurement manager to monitor stock levels, replenish stocks, ensure quality control, and resolve disputes related to quantity differences, damaged or expired products.
  • Conduct thorough vendor screenings, supply market research, and analytical studies to identify and select potential suppliers for the pre-approved vendor list.
  • Evaluate quotations from vendors and coordinate purchasing activities based on company needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and liaise with restaurant teams on requirements and delivery issues.
  • Oversee contracts and renewals prior to expiry.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record in cost management, vendor management, quality controls, and inventory management.
  • Positive work attitude, proactive, resourceful, and independent.
  • Organized and meticulous.
