**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled UX Designer to modernize and enhance the visual presentation of our existing UI components. This role will involve replacing outdated components with modern, standardized ones and creating new custom UI components where necessary.

  • Key responsibilities will include identifying suitable replacements for existing UI components, implementing code changes within our templating system, and applying visual adjustments using design tokens and established styling mechanisms.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in front-end development and technical UX, with strong proficiency in CSS and SASS, as well as experience developing user interfaces without relying on frameworks.
  • They will also be responsible for participating in code reviews with our Engineering team, documenting implemented changes, and advocating for user needs through primary and secondary research and usability testing.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with a templating language
  • UI Development: Experience developing user interfaces using HTML/CSS/JS without relying on frameworks
  • Proficiency with CSS and SASS
  • TypeScript & TSX: Experience with TypeScript and TSX for UI development
  • Writing well-structured, maintainable code
  • Experience with unit and UI testing
